Trevinca, in pictures
The Trevinca area includes not only the highest peak in Galicia but also the most glacial lakes on the Iberian peninsula outside of the Pyrenees. One of the least densely populated areas in the most elderly province in Spain, the stone buildings in the villages are empty and crumbling. The isolation and lack of development means that the Trevinca night sky is among the best in Europe to view stars and other celestial objects.
